REFUND & POLICY
For both CompTIA and EC-Council, exam vouchers are generally non-refundable. This is a standard policy for most major certification providers.
Here’s a breakdown of the typical refund policies:
CompTIA:
- Non-refundable: CompTIA explicitly states that all exam voucher purchases are final and may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
- Expiration: Vouchers typically expire 12 months from the date of purchase, and the expiration date cannot be extended. You must register for and take your exam before the voucher expires.
- Non-transferable: Once a voucher has been used to register for an exam, it cannot be transferred to another person.
EC-Council
- Non-refundable: EC-Council also has a strict “non-refundable” policy for its exam vouchers, including new, retake, or extended vouchers.
- Expiration: Vouchers are typically valid for one year from the date of purchase. While they are non-refundable, EC-Council does offer the option to purchase an extension for a fee if the voucher has not expired.
- Non-transferable: Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the candidate to whom they were issued.
REMINDER: It’s important to always read the full terms and conditions when you purchase a voucher.
